It can be.: Most people who i see in my practice for evaluation of breast pain do not have cancer. Nevertheless, breast cancer can cause pain, and any new symptom that persists warrants clinical evaluation. I recommend that you schedule an office visit with your primary care physician or gynecologist.

Perhaps: Stinging and pain in the breast can be due to many things. Breast cancer is a possibility, but so is infection, a cyst, and others. Please see you health care provider.
