Early on-you can't: Unless you are well into your pregnancy and can start to feel the growing fetus, you can not tel if your pregnant by feeling your stomach. If you had unprotected sex, and you do not get your next scheduled period, than do a pregnancy test.

Preg: Hard tell early months nbut start above pubic bones where come to get her use fingers both hands and press down gently toward bladder. It should feel like firm mass. Pelvic exam with abdominal palpating best which is what doc does. It is not diagnostic, and really have be 3-4 months along. How many periods did miss? Do home preg. Test.

No: No. In early pregnancy the uterus is quite small, low in the pelvis. Feeling your abdomen won't tell you anything. Just do a pregnancy test.

Early in pregnancy,: There would be very little difference in your uterus. So, would encourage use of home pregnancy test to determine pregnancy rather then self- palpation. Take care.

Quickening: For a first pregnancy may feel fetal movements around 18 to 20 weeks. For a repeat pregnancy may be felt as early at week 16. Suspect this is more likely to be gas or perstalsis of GI tract. Take care.

Thank Dr. Livingston. You could be pregnant & be unaware - especially if it is a pregnancy that is less far along.
