Is it safe to take claritin (loratadine) d everyday while preg? im 30wks and been taking it for 2months nothing else helps.but im so worry bout effects!?! help?

The Pseudoephedrine in the Claritin (loratadine) d is in pregnancy category c meaning in animal studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans. Claritin (loratadine), however, is safe to take- in catergory b. Stop it now until you discuss with your ob.
