Concerned: This is concerning for a urinary tract infection. This is a common infection if you had a Foley catheter placed during surgery.

See your doctor: It is common to get a urinary tract infection after surgery because a catheter is placed in the bladder during and after surgery. This is the most common cause of your symptoms. Sex is strongly discouraged in the first 6 weeks after hysterectomy to allow the surgical incisions both internally and externally to heal. Please call and see your doctor to be evaluated soon.
