No/yes: No physician will touch you without your consent. If you already got an appointment schduled to see that physician it implies consent for examination. If you have trepidation while you are in the exam room, your physician will explore the reasons for your fears and will make an attempt to eradicate your fears/trepidation. The physician will not proceed to examine you against your objections.
