Not evidence-based: This "superfood" is sold to people as the substance that causes a larval honeybee to develop into a queen. It's expensive and it works magic for the bees, so gullible folks assume it must be good for them. The internet claims about its having many different nice molecules are equally true of decomposing roadkill or nastier. Some folks are allergic. It's your money.
