Rhinitis: The medical term is gustatory rhinitis. It is extremely common. When you eat your body goes into a secretory state. You saliva glands secrete saliva, pancreas secretes digestive chemicals the stomach secretes and the gall bladder secretes. Your nose is just another part of the body that has something to secrete and in this case it's mucus. If it is really bothersome medications can control it.
