Not necessarily: Rheumatoid factor is one of several clues for rheumatoid arthritis. By itself it does not make the diagnosis.

Maybe: The rheumatoid factor is relatively nonspecific and can be positive in numerous other diseases. The ccp antibody is a much more specific test for ra. Have your doctor order this test if RA is suspected.

May be may be not: Will depend on certain clinical presentations and how high is the rf positivity. In the right clinical settings and if the rf is significantly positive and no other explanation to both the positive rf and to the joint pains- yes, may be you do have rheumatoid arthritis.
