A member asked:

What is the relationship between blood groups and susceptibility to certain diseases

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very little: There is an enormous amount online about "what to do if you are thus-and-such of a blood type" and it's as fictitious as zodiac signs. The ABO blood group system has very little correlation with common illnesses (other than hemolytic disease of the newborn). Response to a few infectious agents (famously h pylori) varies some. http://bloodjournal.hematologylibrary.org/content/115/23/4635.full.
