Maybe Dental: It could be that either you have a dental abscess or have a wisdom tooth trying to come in and it could be causing some issues in that area. It might also be a number of issues related to your ears or your teeth or any of the many stuctures in that area. You need to see a dentist or possible an ear nose & throat specialist right away.

Have it checked: Many people refer to lymph nodes as "glands" which become enlarged when an infection of some kind is present. Anything from a cold to a dental infection could cause this. A lump that wasn't there before could be a number of things, but should be investigated. Sometimes early diagnosis makes a big difference in how it is treated. I would recommend seeing your family doctor and go from there.
