Menstrual changes: Many women find that their periods are sometimes heavier, sometimes lighter. The heaviness of your bleeding doesn't have much bearing on whether you are able to conceive. It takes 6 months on average for a couple to conceive. If it is more than 1 year of actively trying without success, then you could see a fertility specialist. Until then, just keep trying.
