A member asked:

Are there any differences between a skin tag caused by natural occurrences (like weight, age, hormones) and one caused by hpv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Most skin tags are loose soft flexible growths while a "wart" from hpv is thicker and wrinkled on the surface. Not always easy to tell the difference but most professionals can differentiat by looking.
