Depends: On how long it has been and where the fracture is in your foot. Some fractures in the foot can take up to 10 -12 weeks to heal particularly if it is in the proximal 5th metatarsal. Most foot fractures can be treated non-operatively in a cast or walking boot. But some actually need surgery if they dont heal or if they are initially significant and in certain places in your foot. See an ortho doc.
