Well-tolerated: Clomiphene is generally a well-tolerated medication, with few side effects. The biggest risks, if not used correctly, is of multiple pregnancies (e.g. Twins), and ovarian cysts. Clomiphene for patients with ovulatory problems is very effective. For those that are already ovulating, it has about a 20% better chance of pregnancy than doing nothing.
