Psoriasis itch: The real treatment is get the psoriasis better. The itching can be helped by zyrtec, benadryl, (diphenhydramine) Allegra or any antihistamine.

See a dermatologist: No antihistamine will reduce itch from psoriasis. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is a sleeping pill: do not use except at bedtime. There is no cure but there are very effective treatments. Psoriasis is genetic. It is not your fault. Some prescription meds will aggravate it.
