See your doctor: Diarrhea persisting for three weeks needs to be evauated have you taken antibiotics prior to this episode of diarrhea, as antibiotics can cause diarrhea and c difficuli infection which can be serious you do need stool culture and stool for parasites if you have been out of the country other causes are inflammatory bowel disease and you may need colonoscopy to rule that out consult your md/gi speci.
