Gastroenteritis ?: It might be viral gastroenteritis, especially common if you child is in a daycare, if it is only one occurrence just monitor , make sure he/she has regular bowel movements, because constipation may also give symilar symptoms, keep child hydrated with pedialyte, if it continues, or any fever, restlessness or lethargy, or no oral fluid intake or severe abdominal pain take to er or urgent care.

Close watching: Watch him closely. Might be viral and transient but it is hard to evaluate without seeing him in person and checking vital signs. Symptoms like these are best evaluated in person by your physician. Based on the findings, a treatment plan can be developed to help you.

Intestinal germ: These problems, for just a short time, are likely (in a healthy child) to come from a virus infecting his intestne. It is likely to go on for a couple of days. Give plenty of simple clear liquids like sports drinks instead of milk, but give small amounts frequently. If he vomits, he won't lose a lot and become dehydrated. If it goes more than 5 days or he has fever, call his doctor.
