what is liver shrinkage?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Anne Larson
33 years experience Hepatology
Likely Cirrhosis: I suspect you mean that the liver has become smaller. A liver which has cirrhosis will become smaller and shrunken. This is a bad sign of advanced disease.
