Why do my stomach muscles hurt so bad?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Excess stom acidity: Why do my stomach muscles hurt so bad? Most likely cause is the excess acid release in the stomach. Acid is normally released but in some people a larger than normal amount of it starts to affect the lining of the stomach, causing severe pain in the area above the belly button. Meds to reduce the acid amount is helpful.
