Water, causes the: Small tiny droplets of oil and moisture to be washed off your hands. It also causes the fingers to wrinkle. If you look at a normal innervated finger at high magnification you will actually see tiny droplets of moisture on the finger tip. Finger tips without good nerve supply can feel drier due to missing this and the wrinkling doesnt occur as well http://tinyurl.Com/arq2hlwso and feels smooth.
