What does welbutin do?

Inhibit reuptatke: It is a neurotransmitter modulator( inhibits reuptatke) of norepinephrine and dopamine, used as antidepressant or to stop smoking.

Antidepressant: Wellbutrin (bupropion) is an anti depressant and aid for getting over nicotine addiction.

Bupropion: Also called wellbutrin (bupropion) or zyban or aplenzin, is an atypical antidepressant & smoking cessation aid, which has mild psychostimulant action. It is a norepinephrine/dopamine reuptake inhibitor. It can lower seizure threshold at high doses, & elevate blood pressure.
