Nothing: Stretch marks are tears in the skin cause by weight gain. They can be covered up, but not improved by creams and lotions. The only possibly effective therapy is cosmetic plastic surgery, but that's a big step for a non-health and non-life threatening problem.

Retin-A, & Needling!: Stretch marks can be significantly improved in appearance by judicious use of needling devices and retin-a. Topical application of retinols has been shown to increase the body's own collagen, and elastin production. Needling devices such as a dermaroller can also be used to improve the appearance of stretchmarks, but to completely remove them, surgery is needed to cut them out.

Surgery: If your stretch marks are mostly in the lower abdomen , tummy tuck will help. If they are on your thighs, breasts, or upper abdomen, not much can be done.
