Ischemic microvascular of the brain is usually a radiologic description of certain findings on ct or mri. These findings are typically seen in pts. With poorly controlled hypertension and/or diabetes mellitus. Symptoms can return/worsen if the underlying risk factors are not addressed. Though the imaging abnormalites rarely return to normal, treatment can prevent progression.
