Depends on the knee!: If you have a pre-existent knee injury, calf augmentation could cause leg swelling that may aggravate your knee. If your knee injury is severe, you should handle your knee issue before undergoing calf augmentation. If it's a chronic issue alleviated with stretching and ice, calf augmentation may not affect your knee issue. It's dependent on the severity of your injury and what your surgeon says.
