A member asked:

Can a wearable eeg monitor malfunction due to sun heat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Portable monitors are fairly robust, and temperatures that are comfortable for the patient should be fine for the device. That being said, i would not leave it in direct sun in a hot car, as that might be excessive. Think of it as an expensive laptop, and that level of care should be fine.
