Skin resurfacing: Although chemical peels have been a mainstay of treatment for years the co2 laser has also been used as well as other types of lasers.

No: Skin resurfacing with lasers usually is a 'stand alone' procedure. The depth of treatment varies based on the type of laser chosen and the problem at hand. Chemical peels can also treat different depths depending on their strength. These modalities occasionally can be (carefully) combined.
