Hard to say: It sounds like you may have interstitial cystitis, an inflammatory condition of the bladder that causes pain w/urination and with intercourse, but it usually causes pain at times other than just after intercourse. Sometimes intercourse can trigger some uterine cramping afterwards. Neither of these causes irreg periods. That may or may not be related. Many causes: hormone changes at age 47 likely.
