Get evaluated: A clot in your legs would cause pain, swelling and possibly redness to the extremity. Many factors contribute to the development of a clot such as; immobility, damage to the blood vessels, hypercoaguable states, smoking, arrythmias, old age, and history of dvt. If you are concerned, seek medical attention asap. Clots in the leg can travel to the lungs and cause pulmonary embolisms.
