Yes: There are numerous potential adverse effects listed for this antimalarial drug. I am sure you have been given that info with your prescription/s. Among those are depression and emotional disturbances which may affect your libido etc significantly. But if you have taken it for a year with very little known effects, you will continue to do well most likely. Continue if malaria is a risk!
