Not unusual but...: Abdominal pains are commonplace during the later stages of pregnancy as the baby pushes on your abdominal organs/intestines. Can lead to reflux, heartburn, different bowel patterns, etc. However, talk to doc if pains are rhythmic, like labor pains or pain with urination, fever, etc that could signal an infection that needs attention. Those things can set off early labor if not addressed properly.
