Sometimes caffeine use in the am can produce a wearing off in the afternoon so that avoidance in am might be more convenient than a cup of tea in the pm.....

Exercise regularly, this will help you have more energy. Make sure you are in a healthy weight range. Being over or under weight can affect daytime fatigue. Keep a consistent sleep schedule even on your days off.
