How do the doctor know how many weeks your pregnant by feeling your stomach? where is it located and how can you tell it's your uterus?

Difficult: When your uterus reaches your umbilicus (belly button) you are generally 20 weeks. Before then it is difficult to feel the uterus and determine how far along you are.
