Contact allergy: A contact dermatitis is caused by an allergic reaction in the skin from touching something, in this case, vegetables. I doubt that she is allergic to all vegetables. You can test her allergy by placing many tiny pieces of vegetables on the skin of her forearm, and make a diagram on a piece of paper to label what you have done. She will get a itchy rash at the one she is allergic to.
