45 minutes after taking 1 10mg propranolol i had a racing heart and dizzyness then about 1 hour after i was fine what could of happened?

Depends...: Was this your 1st dose? If so, this may have been what we call an idiosyncratic reaction, or a reaction that is specific to you. Propanolol typically causes a slight reduction in heart rate, and woul not be expected to cause heart racing. Make sure you are adequately hydrated before taking this medication. If the reaction occurs again, stop taking and notify your doctor.
