No but you shouldn't: In other countries fruit juices are introduced very early. There is, however, no good reason to give a baby juice. It is just sweetened water with no nutritional value. You are teaching your baby to want sugar; not a good idea. Young infants do fine with just breast milk (or formula) and water.

Yes: I would not start juice this early, also recommend introducing orange and other acid fruits at last, after baby tolerates milder fruits.

Too early, too dilut: If your going to give you child juice it is pointless to dilute the juice because she needs the calories giving juice this early is alsoa bit much.

Juice: Unless your child is having hard stools and the pediatrician is recommending an ounce of water mixed with an ounce of juice to soften stools there is really no reason for a baby to have juice. An interesting combination - did you ask to give juice? You might want to ask why. We all might learn something....

Yes,but: I seldom recommend juice in infancy unless i'm using it to loosen an infant's stools. Many use them in diluted form, but i personally consider them like feeding an infant a coke. If the kid is to experience an apple it should be in the form of apple sauce, not processed juices. The same goes for the other juices. We need to avoid creating sugar addicts in the cradle.
