A member asked:

Roof of my mouth sore. creamy yellow patches. had 6 months of illness, antibiotics, steroids, inhalers. recently surgery, incubated . dr or probiotics?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Oral sores: Both would be advised. With steroids, antibiotics and inhalers on board recently, you may have oral thrush which needs to be treated. Probiotics may help somewhat but a prescription usually will be needed. But a medical professional should look to make sure that this is thrush or may also be ulcerations, which would require different treatment.
