Ovulation pain maybe: One possibility is "mittelschmerz" which is german for "middle pain". About 20% of women get this mid cycle, or 2 weeks before their period. It can last hours to a few days and signals ovulation (release of the egg) sometimes woman can localize the pain to one side, sometimes not. If there is fever, or the pain makes it difficult to walk or move normally, pain is intensifying, get checked out.
