Happy life: Sex is not a necessity for a happy life. There is a lot more than sex in a happy life. Sex is just one component. There are many happy people that do not actively have sex.

No: Considerable research documents the benefits of a healthy sex life. However, being sexual is a highly individualized decision, and is not necessary for happiness. A growing community of individuals self-identify as asexual (who do not experience sexual attraction) However, if you experience attraction and desire a relationship, a therapist can help you identify and address barriers.
