Are there any natural treatments for amenorrhrea due to anovulation?

Remedies for periods: Not having a period can be a sign of early pregnancy, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalance such as pco, prolonged use of birth control, stress, too much exercise, anorexia etc. If you have spoken with your doctor and they say this is just one anovulation period, natural supplements that balance hormones are vitex , oil of primrose (better for progesterone).

First : First see your doctor to determine if a treatable cause for your amenorrhrea can be identified. One potential adjunct to your treatment can be acupuncture.

Yes: It is always wise to determine and address the underlying cause. Dr. Patel gave a good list of potential causes so it is wise to have your doctor assess for those. Sometimes no cause is obvious and natural therapies like acupuncture, herbs and homeopathy can help. Please get checked for thyroiditis; thyroid problems are a common factor.
