Zanaflex (tizanidine): Stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and vomiting have been reported side-effects. These should be relatively minor. If not, or if you experience severe nausea, stomach pains, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), see you prescribing doctor.

Zanflex reactions: Any medication can cause upset stomach or skin rashes in susceptible people. There is no way to know in advance whether anyone will be affected in these ways without just trying it. So in answer to your question, it is normal to experience upset stomach with zanaflex (tizanidine). This occurs predictably in about 1-5% of all patients who take this medication.
