Occassionally: Occassionally i treat people who thrive on their anxiety. There stress and anxiety often propel them to accomplish things. Whether they are taking antidepressants for an anxiety disorder or depression, some people feel flat and unmotivate without their normal level of anxiety.

Absolutely.: Yes, antidepressants help reduce depression and anxietyk but for some, they seem to reduce motivation. It is not always clear why this is...It could be that the "motivation" was in part driven by anxiety or depression. If the anxiety and depression get better, sometimes one has to find new motivators. Or, if the problem persists, consider switching to another antidepressant.

Possibly: Fluoxetine can cause apathy, but so can depression or stress. It's best to speak with your physician to best understand the cause and treatment approach. Hope this answer helps.
