A member asked:

Is it normal during menstration that a big piece of bloody skin gets released? i have never seen this before so it worries me. i do not have pain.

Not normal: If it's really "bloody skin, " this is not normal. Sometimes blood that has sat around in the uterus before getting expelled can take on a tissue-like appearance. That would be normal.
