Possibly: I assume the partial vulvectomy was for squamous Ca. Also that the procedure was effective because failure to control disease here might not result in an obvious lesion, but rather metastasis to regional groin nodes. Since intermittent symptoms are the major problem it is probably due to scar around several of the nerve groups such as pudendal nerve. Otherwise a neuroma may have developed
