Enlarge breasts: There are a few ways to enlarge the breast. The most common is to surgically enlarge the breasts with an implant (saline or silicone). The second is to utilize your own fat from another area of the body taken and transferred into the breasts. The third approach is the use of a brava system to enlarge breasts. All of these should be discussed with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Breast augmentation: Traditionally breast augmentation is performed with a breast implant. If that is the choice then after the examination performed decisions can be made about placement of the implant above or below the muscle, implant shape ( round or smooth) and the filler of the implant (saline or silicone). Fortunately we have shaped silicone implants from sientra and the 410 from allergan. Fat graft with brava.

Breast enlargement: Of course garments/bras can be used. There are several other techniques to enlarge the breast with breast implants being the most popular. Either saline or silicone implants can be used. Other methods include external expanders (brava device), or fat tranfer via grafts or flaps. A variety of hormones can be used but are generally used only for male to female transgender treatment.
