Chest lump: Is it in center of breastbone (sternum) or at end of it? If latter, may be prominent xiphoid tip of sternum. If along edge of sternum, may be inflammation of junction of rib & sternum (costochondritis) which NSAID can help alleviate. If uncertain, see fp for exam & reassurance & treatment if needed.
