It depends: The treatment for abcesses and "boils" often depend on the bacteria that is causing them to occur. The appropriate antibiotic will help cure the bacteria it is sensitive to. Be aware though, even with the appropriate antibiotic use, boils may often need to be incised and drained. You should see a dr. If your condition does not get better or worsens.
