Pins and needles: Maybe your fracture is causing the problem but you may have a pinched nerve somewhere else like your neck. Check with your doctor and maybe get a nerve test (emg).

Yes: Depending on where you broke the bone, you could get some pressure on the local nerves from scar tissue or the bone itself. I would get evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon.
