I have to go to hospital for ivig drip' can you tell me what to expect?

Patience: Ivig have to be given monthly and have to be given slowly to monitor for side effects, such as headaches, fever, chills, itching, etc. They may need to give you medicine before you receive them. See if there is an option to receive them subcutanesouly at home weekly with a visiting nurse. It is more convenient and has less side effects.
