It can be : Spotting is common during the early stages of pregnancy. However, miscarriage is also common and bleeding can be a sign of that, especially if you have pain or cramping like your period is coming on. Hopefully you have established with someone to provide prenatal care. If the spotting continues or you have other symptoms or concerns, please go and ask questions. Uncertainty can be scary.
