Depending on the: Discomfort you can "buddy tape" to the adjacent toe. A hard soled shoe may also help.

Hard sole shoe : Wear a hard sole shoe. Until the toe is feeling better about 3-4 weeks. Buddy taping to an adjacent toe also helps.
